Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
Linkdex ("we", "us") runs advertising and lead generation for local service businesses in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through linkdex.ca and the landing pages we operate on its subdomains, why we collect it, and how we protect it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Information you give us in a form: such as your name, phone number, email, business or service address, and any details you add in comments.
- Technical and advertising data: the page you came from and campaign parameters (for example UTM tags and Google Ads click IDs), plus basic analytics such as pages viewed and device type.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your request and connect you with the business that provides the service you asked about.
- To measure which ads and pages work, so we can improve our campaigns.
We collect only what we need for these purposes and do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- The service provider you requested. On a service landing page, your request is sent to the licensed business named on that page so they can contact you. That business handles your information under its own privacy practices.
- Service providers that help us run our pages, such as Zoho (forms), Google (Analytics, Ads, Sheets) and Cloudflare (hosting). They process data on our behalf and may store it outside Canada.
- When required by law.
Consent
By submitting a form, you agree that we may use your information as described here and share it with the business named on the page. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; this may mean we can no longer process your request.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies from Google to understand how visitors use our pages and to measure ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions only as long as needed to handle your request and measure campaign results, and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
How we protect it
Access to submissions is limited to people who need it, and accounts that hold your data are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
